Our quotation challenge Quote of the Day
At the beginning of June we gave ourselves a challenge, to post a motivational quote on Ko-fi, along with a photograph, every day during the month of June. We're still doing it!
It's proved to be a nice little discipline, to actually post everyday somewhere other than on Twitter. The quotes, many encouraging perseverance, have themselves kept us going with this. Here are 6 of our favourites:
"When you have a great and difficult task, something perhaps almost impossible, if you only work a little at a time, every day a little, suddenly the work will finish itself" - Isak Dinesen
"The three great essentials to achieve anything worthwhile are, first, hard work, second, stick-to-itiveness, third, common sense." - Thomas A. Edison
"Remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet." - Stephen Hawking
"To reach a port we must set sail -
Sail, not tie at anchor
Sail, not drift." - Franklin D. Roosevelt
"It's not what we do once in a while that shapes our lives. It's what we do consistently." - Anthony Robbins
